Clinton Home Information Session
We’ve invited Moira and Andrea from Clinton House Care Home to deliver an information session on respite and care home fees on Friday 2nd October at 12 noon – 1 pm.
Moira will explain what respite involves, when it might be helpful, the benefits and challenges, and how to prepare a loved one for a respite stay. She’ll also be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Andrea will provide guidance on the costs associated with respite and long‑term care and can answer general questions about fees if someone is considering either option.
On Friday 2nd October, our volunteers will come in earlier so carers can join the session and have uninterrupted time to listen and speak openly. We’ll be supporting your loved ones living with dementia while you take this time for yourself.
Staff leave in October
We’ve got a few staff off on annual leave this month, so an enormous thank‑you to our volunteers who’ve stepped in to do extra hours and keep the hub running as smoothly as if nobody had dared take a holiday J
Tinto Climb Fundraiser update
Our sincere thanks to Pamela and the Kilgour family climbers, who have raised a wonderful £2,460 through their JustGiving page and your cash donations. A beautiful tribute in memory of their dear William.
