Development Team
We are looking for hub members living with dementia, along with their carers, to join our Development Team. The team meets once a month and plays an active role in shaping how the Hub runs — from choosing activities and planning outings to supporting funding bids and sharing ideas based on lived experience. If you would like more information or are interested in getting involved, please speak to Lesley.
First Aid Training
We are running two first-aid training sessions to equip our volunteers with basic first-aid skills. The sessions will take place on:
Tuesday 14th July, 2.30 pm – 3.30 pm
Friday 17th July, 11.30 am – 12.30 pm
We will be holding similar sessions in August aimed at our carers and will be in touch soon with dates.
Playlist for Life
Some of you may know that one of our volunteers, Susanne Reid, is supporting hub members to create their own music playlists. Susanne will be at the Hub on Friday 17th and Tuesday 28th July. If you’d like to find out more about the benefits of making a musical playlist, please speak to Susanne, Lesley or Karen.
